Each year the Company awards a Recognition of Achievement in Education prize to one student at each of thirteen agricultural colleges.

These are not applied for. A student is put forward by their tutor and by the Principal of their college, which is what makes the prize worth having.

Each year the Company sponsors a Nuffield Farming Scholar — funding someone to travel overseas, research a subject of their choosing, and return with what they have learned.

Attfield Brooks Apprenticeships
Each year the Company binds a small number of apprentices to a Liveryman. It is a mentoring relationship first — and a way into the Livery and the City for people at the start of a career in farming.

Awards of up to £750 towards the cost of a training course, for members of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs.
