What it is
A farm in the middle of the city
For many years the Company has been associated with Surrey Docks Farm, on the banks of the Thames facing Canary Wharf. The farm is a registered charity and rents 2.2 acres from Southwark Council. It was started in 1975 and moved to its current site in 1986.
It keeps a wide range of animals for visitors to see and to meet — goats, sheep, cows, pigs and chickens, alongside donkeys, geese, rabbits, turkeys, ferrets and bees.
